Catch up! 

For anyone who doesn’t know, Nellie’s single “Lights” was released to iTunes today. 

Nellie originally released the song to her bandcamp a few days ago. (She’d rather you but it there because she gets all profit from it. But buying it from either place is okay because you are supporting her and her music legally!!! :D )

Jake from KingMacRadio wrote this article about Nellie and her single at RyanSeacrest.com. He is also trying to get that article to the most commented page of the website according to Nellie. Which brings the explanation to the tweet: Nellie is currently the Artist Spotlight on the front page of the website! (How cool!!!)

“Lights” is also on Spotify too. 

Even more awesome, she is #5 on the singer/songwriter genre on iTunes! (Challenge: Get Lights to #1!!!!)

NOTE: Nellie’s name is spelled incorrectly on iTunes and Spotify. Their spelling is Nelle, no i. She tweeted earlier that she is trying to get it corrected as fast as she can. (That was 9hrs ago and it is still not fixed.) That might be a reason why you can’t find her single on those two sites.

And as far as the name misspelling goes….I’ve notified the people I published the song through…and they haven’t responded D:

The path they ‘recommended’ was redistributing, but I wasn’t about to take it down and go through the process all over again now that it’s out/being featured/etc.

Hopefully it happens soon, because apparently this is getting a fair amount of outside attention and they’re all gonna think I’m “Nelle” lol.
